We don't hide behind proprietary names. We publish our fabric suppliers, test data, and factory. Because if you're spending $485 on a jacket, you should know exactly what you're getting.

Full Transparency

Toray fabric systems.

Every piece uses Toray's best 3-layer constructions — the same fabric systems used in Japanese mountaineering gear since 2008. Dermizax EV for the flagship. Entrant DT for the everyday shell. We tell you exactly which one and why.

Construction

Bonded, not taped.

Seam tape is the first thing that fails on a shell. It peels, it lifts, it lets water in after 20 washes. Our seams are fully bonded — fused at the molecular level by the same Portland factory that builds for military contracts. They don't delaminate. Period.

"I've owned Arc'teryx, Mammut, and Norrona. The V3 Storm Shell is better than all of them and costs half as much. Took it through 3 days of horizontal rain in Patagonia. Not a drop got through."

"The fact that they publish their actual hydrostatic head numbers instead of hiding behind proprietary names tells you everything about this company."

"I'm a climbing guide in the Tetons. I bought 4 of these for my team. They've survived a full season and look brand new. The hood design is the best I've used."
